• SEL: We are focusing on this month's theme is Cooperation.
• MATH: We are continuing our work in Unit 3 in Eureka- Multiplication/Division 0,1,6,7,8,9.
• ELA: We are continuing our learning on how to write Opinion pieces and reading informational texts.
• SBAC Interim- This week on Monday and Tuesday we are doing our Reading and Math Interim tests. This is a good practice for students so they are familiar with the tools and layout of the test in preparation for the actual SBAC testing coming up in May.

• MATH: We are working on decomposing fractions and whole numbers into smaller fractions.

• Our current science unit is about the structure and function of different traits of living things. We are currently comparing tree squirrels and flying squirrels.

• Spanish Language Arts: Students have begun their planning for their Civil rights leader investigation essay through an outline that is then going to help them format their 5 paragraph essay. Some students have also begun to write rough drafts of their essays.

  • 4th: Students have begun their division units.
  • 5th: Students are working on solving word problems with fractions.

  • We have a field trip planned for the Spring. I will put out a call for chaperone’s when it gets closer, but if you are hoping to go, please make sure your volunteer status is approved and not expired.
